I have spend over 12 years and 30,000 dollars (tithing and gifts to the church). When I started developing depression and the church's methods did not help I was abandoned by the friends i made in church and finally the church itself. These people are insane to follow tribal teachings and give so much power to their leaders who will strip them of their money, self worth and individuality. There is no god, a beneficent being would have to hate(not love people) to punish them for sin that god himself let loose in the world(eve really let sin in?come on)blaming sin on women to control them. It is the longest running scam in human history and it just keeps going because are not learning to get along. We don't get along because of the inflexible unimaginative religious leaders insisting to use religion for their own agrandizement. You never see the Islamic leaders strapping on a bomb, just as you won't see Christian leaders get along, because once they have their proselytes they do not want to lose the proselytes monetary and participatory help. It also proplels the leader into the religious limelight if they have the most believers. A scam of nth degree, if there is a god lt us hope he does not reward the religious.

yeah i hear ya the one thing i like about sum religions is at least they say that we should all try to get along but since that probablly wont happen its kinda sad :/

You know... christians just interpret the bible to mean what they beleive it means just like all the other bible related religions everyone has their own theory,the problem is the bible was origionally symbolic not factual. But it has been changed so much that it's hard for me to understand why people still live by it.

Let me tell you not all religions beleive their is a god or that god hates you if you don't obay him. they say god is so forgiving yet aparrently you go to hell if you sin what's with that? Anyway you should check out other religions most people don't know all that's out there. You might find a religion that makes more sense to you. I personally don't care about religion at all, my life is fine without it but i do like to hear what other people beleive just because it's interesting

I HATE RELIGIONmy toughts on religion.. hehe made u read huh? well actually i wouldn't say "hate" and not really "religion" its self more like what it makes people do.. like when people kill other people because of their beliefs...i mean, who am i..or any of us for that matter to say there religion is "wrong" and i hate when people say things to people that dont beilieve in god like "your gonna go to hell" its like wtf isnt one of the glden rules love thy neighbor? i think somewhere in the bible it says sumthing about spreading the word of god i think but when it gets to a point where your just basicly putting someone down its a lil crazy...i also think that christians and jews..(well im not sure wut other religions fight about this but im sure theres more) are kinda going crazy over who the chosen people are cause the "jews killed jesus" ...but hello dont you people kinda think that is retarded to say the whole religion is at fault for that....in my mind i dont think there are chosen people...god loves us all or is that just a lie? which brings me to my next point dose god hate gay/lesbian/bi people? most really religious people say its a sin to be gay/lesbian/bi and one point they always bring up is "god made adam and eve not adam and steve" but hello!!! do u no how long ago the bible was writen? they didnt really have that many scientific studies (i think man put in things god didnt intend to b put in the bible) so of course they made up folk tales and things like that...if the world had really flooded for 40 days they whole eco system would have been coo-coo and how can billions of people that all look different come from two people? someone is probably gonna curse me out cause whats to stop me from saying god isnt real after i said all that stuff but no i wont say that even if i didnt beilieve in him i wouldnt say that and i won't say the gods of egypt arnt real either or any other gods ...the point is lets just forget about converting each other or who the chosen people are or whatever lets just respect each other
and here is just one thing i like to think...i dont think god is a man...he might be a nothing (if that makes sence..) or i think a woman because back when the bible was writen even in there its says "he" (not "he" as in god but as in people in general) they were not into women's rights as we are now but when you think of it wouldnt it work?? "he" made us right? so why can't he be a "she"? well i hope i didnt offend anyone these are just my thoughts thats all... i just hope we can all respect each other as human beings
